 Nature Class Descriptions

Learn & Play Tampa Bay Nature School
Our Nature School classes take place in the Oak Hammocks, Pine Flatwoods,

or Mangroves along the intercoastal waterways.

All locations have so much to offer as far as child exploration and sensory options.

All of our classes help guide children to observe nature and make observations.

This helps to develop an appreciation for nature and build stamina in nature.

Each class has a meet up spot near the front of the park location or at a designated pavilion. We will lead a walk to a basecamp.  While we are at our basecamp, we will talk about our nature focus, the flora and fauna around us, mindful activities, literacy, and other real-time topics. At the end of each class we will actively explore with a child-led discovery nature walk.

All classes require online registration form, session fee per family, material fee per family, and a class fee per child. You may opt to register for the session and provide a single class fee per child for each class you are available to attend.

Class leaders meet biweekly
Classes & Events will meet at 10:30 AM,
Please bring along water, snacks, a blanket, and bug repellant.
